Tom Brady, sometimes known as Tom Terrific, is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. "Brady has won three Super Bowl MVP awards, two league MVP awards (2007, 2010), has been selected to ten Pro Bowls, and has led the Patriots to more division titles than any other quarterback in NFL history, with twelve" (Wikipedia). However, because of being excused of cheating in the Superbowl, all is forgotten. Now Pretty Boy is suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season. The Patriots are also fined $1 million making it the largest fine in NFL history.
This situation first appeared when the NFL, Indianapolis Colts linebacker D'Qwell Jackson intercepted Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. "He took the ball to his team's equipment staff, which then informed head coach Chuck Pagano, who told general manager Ryan Grigson, who told NFL director of football operations Mike Kensil, who told the officials on the field" (CNN). In the end, let's just say they were caught cheating for deflating the football. And what does Tom Brady have to say about all this? "Ridiculous." He also mentioned that he has "always played within the rules." Sure he has.
In the first photograph shown above, we see Tom Brady deformed like a football to mock him. Brady is trying to get himself together but without the help of his teammates and coaches, there is no way to get back up. The artist pokes fun at Brady to the point where he deflates him... see what I did there? In the second cartoon, we see Brady exclaiming to most likely a teammate that those are the footballs that will be used in the game. Except, no football is shown but pancakes. Brady seems to misinterpret the football that was deflated to food, another taunt for Pretty Boy. In a small corner we discover the artist's view of his argument as he says says, "No, these are your credibility." (Can someone please give this artist a hand, seriously.)
Hm... makes me wonder what Brady has to say about the cartoons above.
... "Ridiculous."
